Deputy Manager Maintenance E&I
Location: Port Qasim Plant, Karachi
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
-
Provide technical support for troubleshooting and repairing of PLCs, motor drives, and other electrical/electronic equipment in coordination with the Line Manager and shift teams.
-
Lead maintenance activities, ensuring timely repairs, planned maintenance, and adherence to safety and EHS standards.

Initiate and implement energy-saving and cost-reduction projects to optimize KWH usage and maintenance expenses.
-
Manage spare parts inventory, prepare requirements, and support inventory optimization to control costs.

Supervise, train, and motivate the electrical & instrumentation team; organize technical sessions and participate in hiring and performance reviews.

Conduct Root Cause Problem Solving (RCPS) for recurring or critical issues and develop action plans to achieve zero downtime.

Perform risk assessments and promote reliability engineering practices across all electrical and electronic systems.

Monitor and report maintenance KPIs, team performance, and project progress regularly to management.
QUALIFICATIONS:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
-
At least 5–7 years of relevant experience in the manufacturing industry.

Strong expertise in PLC programming, servo systems, machine automation, motors and control systems and network systems.

In-depth understanding of electrical power systems, including HT/LT, transformers, UPS, generators and solar systems.

Excellent communication, leadership, and team management skills.
